Cheeburger Cheeburger may be one of the happiest hangouts in Westfield. It appeals mostly to the family crowd, but even young couples and mature groups cannot resist the appeal of this kitschy, old-time filling station. The only grumbling here is heard from those waiting for a table, and it's because of the lunch rush that the takeout counter stays very busy. Even though it's hidden away next to the train station in downtown Westfield, people find their way here to fill up on the famous cheeseburgers and shakes. The burgers range from normal (5.5-ounce) to ginormous (20-ounce), and if you finish the latter by yourself, you earn a photo on the Wall of Fame. There's a huge list of free toppings for your meat, incuding chopped garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, blue cheese, A1 steak sauce, bacon and grilled portobello mushrooms. The frings basket, with an overflowing mix of freshly cut fries and onion rings, is a must-do side for your table. Milkshakes are delicious, come in over 50 flavors, and are served in a large tin. Cheeburger Cheeburger does makes concessions, though, to the non-carnivorous set, with customizable salads and pick-and-choose toppings. So even health-conscious folks leave smiling.

I find that the restaraunt is a little pricey considering the sides are extra, but the burgers are very filling and the shakes are outrageous. I have never ordered the fries or onion rings, but I plan to when I go and can share it with someone.

  • Save Your Money and make your own Cheeseburger

    Review rating : 1out of 5   Cblue103 - 06/13/2008

Not impressed. We waited a long time to get our food - but we were very disappointed with the burger - which is hyped all over their website and looks better on the net. It was dry, bun wasn't fresh and the french fries were greasy, soggy and cold. Their very pricy and not worth it. Golden Arches Anyone?

    Review rating : 2out of 5   Briguy3793 - 05/31/2008

The burgers were ok, I have had better. The prices were inflated. Would prefer going to a good restaurant with a varied menu for about the same cost.
