Diva Lounge is hugely popular: It attracts an affluent, attractive clientele, including a healthy segment of local celebrities (Geraldo Rivera counts as a celebrity, right?) and athletes (Martin Brodeur, Michael Strahan). All that would be worthy of note in New York. Yeah, Diva may be a little expensive for a Jersey club (though the martinis are still cheaper than across the river). But it is surprisingly comfortable, with velvet couches that are actually soft, and copper-topped coffee tables placed in positions that are aesthetically and ergonomically efficient. The dance floor is always live, with different types of music every night of the week, and the gourmet tapas work well as a post-workout refill. Call in advance and reserve a table by the dance floor: it's yours for two hours, you have your own waitress and the $20 minimum goes by so quickly that you won't even notice. You'll be too busy noticing everything and everyone else.

been to diva many times, and always have a great time there,good music,nice people,even though its always crowded, i guess thats why its a great place.

I was at Diva last Saturday night with friends to celebrate my birthday. The only thing better than the Tapas and the huge cocktails was the new look. Diva looks like Meatpacking comes to New Jersey. They ceratinly have figured out to re-kindle their spark!

I've been going to this place for about a year now but lately its become very hiphopish and im talkin about the clientile not just the music. I dunno about thursdays but fridays and saturdays thats what its like. Although i have to admit the staff is very courteous and the drinks are stiff ( good value for money ). a lotta foreign girls here, mostly nannys from various european countries. So if you wanna pick up a nanny who can't speak english, this is the place. I've never tried the food so I can't really comment on that. All in all you might be better off goin to the new place a coupla blocks down.

ALOT OF BROKE PEOPLE TRYING TO ACT AS IF THEY GOT SOMETHING. THE WOMEN CANT SPEAK ENGLISH AND ARE OVERPAINTED WITH MAKE-UP. BETTER OFF GOIN TO THE DIVE BAR 1 BLOCK DOWN AND ACROSS THE STREET.

Diva is a beautiful lounge. It is comfortable & the music is HOT!!
The people there are so stuck up! They all think they are celebrities even the bartenders!!!! I've gotten less "tude" in Manhattan........roll 10 deep for a great time........bring lots of $$$
martinis are EXPENSIVE!!!!!

Diva's on Thursday night is where it's at!! The place is beautiful, the drinks are delicious, the people don't stop dancing, and most importantly the music is HOTTTT!!! Too bad, there's work the next day ;(

ps - get there early (before 10pm) to get some free salsa lessons from great teachers PLUS get some free parking!!!
