good food. cool plates. casual atmosphere. eccentric waitstaff. It's been awhile since I've found a decent filet mignon--the sauce/gravy they dress it with is pretty awesome. My friends liked the pork and tuna dishes too. However, compared to someplace like Chart House (down the block), the prices seem a little steep for the atmosphere being offered. More of a hang-out than an upscale eatery. Good enough to check out and maybe even return to though.

Showed up around 6 PM for an impromptu dinner and was told by the pretentious host that since we didn't have a reservation we couldn't be seated in the EMPTY dining room until 10 PM. Decided to have dinner at the bar. Food was surprisingly tasty although the portions were a bit skimpy for the price. Service at the bar was excellent but when you are dropping $120 on dinner for two, a table in the "unavailable until 10 PM" dining room would have been preferred. Short version: Good food at NYC prices, good ambiance and attitude at the door! By the way, when we left at 8 PM the dining room was still half empty! Can't seat me until 10 PM.....EXCUSE ME ?!?

For Hoboken its decent.. Very cool bar seen but the food is no better than city bistro.

Our reservation was honored and seated on time. Bar scene became really busy. Food was terrfic and the waiters were very attentive. We will definitely return and highly recommend. Valet parking a huge plus, worth the $6.

Hoboken gets ever close to NYC with Lua. A little loud in general, but the bar staff is attentive, as is the waitstaff. Food was AMAZING. My date and I both agreed that it was the best calamari we've ever had. Looking forward to going back again. Be sure to get yourself a mojito!
