Behold the Texas wiener: It's fried until shriveled, and it looks like heartburn, if heartburn looks like anything. After innumerable local accolades for Goffle's fried-'n'-smothered wiener, most everyone in Bergen County is hip to the charms of the Texas wiener. Goffle Grill is the joint, and their deep-fried hot dogs are among the best in Jersey. They're terrific on their own with some good spicy mustard, but if you feel like pushing your intestinal luck, go ahead and get some of Goffle's "all-the-way-sauce" on your dog. It's basically a thick, spicy chili, and it blasts what is already a delicious dog into the outer reaches of the deliciousness universe. If you're going to go Goffle, go all the way. At this spot, there's no other way to do it.

dinamd70 - 02/04/2006I have been going to Goffle Grill for over 20years... the best hot dog all the way and fries..can't beat it. Also try and buy the all the way sauce for your next bbq it will be a hit!!! Best Hot Dog Joint In NJ!!!!!
There's Better
joyceelusive - 03/08/2005We won't be going back. Didn't like the sauce at all! We believe Pappy's in Totowa has the best dogs. The Colonial in Paterson (now defunct) had the very best.
