Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton's is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet. Every Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy our famous slow roasted Prime Rib. Morton's Prime Rib is a double cut, served bone-in and roasted to a perfect medium rare. Due to limited availability of this item, we suggest you reserve your order when making your reservation.

  • My Favorite

    Review rating : 5out of 5   Kasey3240 - 07/10/2008

Mortons is one of my favorite restaurants to eat in. The food is excellent.. I always get the Shrimp Alexander, FIlet Oskar, and The Molten Chocolate Cake. I am not usually an adventurous eater, but the Filet Oskar sounded so good, I tried it. Now Im hooked! Its outrageous as is the Shrimp Alexander. Yes it is expensive, but more than worth it.

  • Nice double filet mignon

    Review rating : 4out of 5   pdwolk - 01/18/2008

Food was good, although pricey, even for a good steakhouse, but we knew that going in. My only complaint was the server, who had a thick accent, and spoke so fast, we had no idea what she was saying, plus the accent prevented any interactive chatter during the meal, which I feel is a necessary addition to make the evening complete. Also, trying to find the restaurant once you're inside the mall is next to impossible. Overall, pleasant, but not worth rushing back to.

  • Morton's ft.La. and Great neck

    Review rating : 2out of 5   mislea3 - 02/20/2007

I have found in these particular Morton's and any other Morton's on the east coast to be fair at best. I have always had to wait, even with a reservation, the service has been fair to poor. Items have run out ( mashed potatoes), and from the hostess to the wait staff, they all act as though they are doing you a big favor. My husband and I often say ,"let's give them another chance," but each time we do, we are reminded of how we vow to never go back! Proof that expensive does not equal good!! And they have yet to prepare our steaks as we request them.

  • Morton's review

    Review rating : 4out of 5   jatrovato - 02/20/2007

I have eaten at several Morton's...Las Vegas, NYC & Atlantic City, and all three have been consistantly very good from start to finish. The service has always been great, and the steaks have always been prepared to our liking. If I had to complain about something then it would be that they put way too much garlic in the creamed spinach. Yes, their prices are very high, but I would rather spend $200 on a great meal then in a casino any day!

  • Good steak expensive wine list

    Review rating : 4out of 5   clubspa23 - 01/28/2007

I've eaten here a dozen times. Very good steak always properly cooked. Decent service, even when crowded. Adding side dishes and salad can run the bill up real fast. And the wine list is almost criminal. While most restaurants are content to price the wine at double the cost (ie, $25 bottle at retail will cost you $50), Morton's will triple its cost, and then some. Also, watch your bill carefully. They have padded my bill on several occasions. Not just here, but in Palm Beach too! And yet I still go back!

  • CONSITANTLY GREAT

    Review rating : 5out of 5   buz85 - 01/02/2007

I HAVE BEEN TO MORTONS IN DETROIT, CLEVELAND, BOSTON, AND NEW JERSEY...WHILE I AGREE I IS PRICED HIGH....IT IS THE BEST CONSITANT STEAKS....IN FACT THERE STYLE OF SHOWING YOU EACH CUT,FISH, LOBSTER, OR WHATEVER THE ARE SERVING AT YOUR TABLE HAS BEEN COPIED BY MANY INCLUDING ...THE UNDERWELMING DO SHULA'S STEAK HOUSE.

  • Greatest Stake meal ever!

    Review rating : 5out of 5   oriolesmanager - 12/20/2006

I do not know what everyone else is talking about when they offer sub par comments. The service was second to none.(perhaps the 5 pm time was the reason) The steak was the best I've ever had, hot and prefectly trimmed. The $45.00 steak was well worth the price and I consider it a bargain! I have dined all over the country with my team and have found Morton"s to be consistantly great. I eat steak at least twice weekly.

  • Too much for too little

    Review rating : 3out of 5   eb1ceo - 05/03/2006

I don't pay to wait. The cost of the meal does not equate with the overall dining experience. The location and the slow service
make one ponder the expensive cost. STEVE"S in Carlstadt lacks the abiance but wow what a great meal at resonable prices along with top notch service with a smile.

  • poor service ,over priced

    Review rating : 1out of 5   dolodi - 01/27/2006

Been to other fine steak houses... found Mortons to be over priced for the quality and service. Service was slow

  • Excellent Family Steakhouse

    Review rating : 4out of 5   megagame9 - 06/19/2005

This is a great place to go if you want the "expensive steak-dinner" but want to take the kids along. The service, although not speedy, is excellent. No matter how you dress, the staff treats you like royalty from the moment you enter until the moment you step out the door. The menu is presented right in front of you complete with actual steaks (not silicon models like those used by other steakhouses) and a live lobster. (the lobster may freak out some small children) Although I appreciate the River Palm and Ruth's Chris more than Morton's, Morton's has a completely different atmosphere that cannot be compared to that of the other two steakhouses.
