It's almost impossible to keep up with Axis Lounge. The weekly calendar is packed with drink specials and theme parties: '80s night with $2 shots, alternative rock night with $1.50 Bud bottles and half-price appetizers, PlayStation 2 Challenge night with free hot dogs and $2 domestics. With specials and gimmicks like these, the club could still stay busy no matter what it looked like. But the Axis Lounge is stylish and modern, with generous couch and banquette seating surrounding the dance floor and bar. The packed and pulsating crowd changes nightly with the music and theme nights. But the regulars come for the cheap drinks, sleek digs, and attitude-free environment. When it's time to refuel after drinking and dancing, the pub-grub menu includes the expected poppers, hot wings, burgers and potstickers, as well as stir fries and seared tuna salad for those seeking a fancypants experience.

Empty on Saturday night
The only people in this place on a Saturday night were drawn by the bands that got tricked into playing here. Not one walk in customer the entire evening. The live music room is a joke, looks like it is going to collapse at any moment. The DJ in the other room plays the worst mix of "hard rock" and the walls are so thin the bleed through between him and the bands makes everything sound like crap. I didn't see ONE person on the DJ dance floor since EVERYONE there was drawn by one of the bands and was not there for the "I think I might get stabbed here" atmosphere. I imagine they do not get a lot of repeat business.
Maybe Friday nights are better I dunno.Add CommentDance the night away...
Great music by D.J. Ted and live music in an other room on Fridays. Very nice people and on Fridays you'll have your chance to meet the "Captain".
Up and Coming

Place is really starting to catch on ! Check it out, Friday and Saturday Nights are GREAT !!!!!!!
Class Act

Erik from Tequila Joes has really done a grwat job with his own club ! Every night rocks, especially Friday Nights !!!
disappointed
I was there last night (friday night) and was alittle disappointed in the midget-wrestling match. I would like to see more then one midget !!! Hot bartenders!!!
GREAT TIME
It seems like the 2 people before my post went on the wrong days. Different days for different people. The space is great, sound system is the best I've heard, and the bartenders make the best mixed drinks I have ever had.
Cheap drinks, little else
Great space and style, no customers. Bartenders so desperate for consumers that they come across as stalkers. Potential, but no good.
guido fest
this is nothing but a sleeveless paradise for guidos. stay away unless you dig over gelled hair and capri pants. worst night of my life, or at least that week. guido fest.
