If you are looking for the best steakhouse in Charlotte, Sullivan's is the place. What's remarkable is not only do their steaks and food rival or surpass what is offered by Morton's, Ruth's Chris, McIntosh's, or the Palm - but they would be in a horse race with any restaurant in Charlotte for "best of" in any of the following categories:
-Martinis
-Wait Staff
-Bartenders
-Management
-Atmosphere

Sullivan's offers a premium product for a premium price, and its reputation for being the place to go for special occasions is well earned. However, don't restrict yourself to birthdays, anniversaries, and impressing clients. One of the best kept secrets in Charlotte is that their bar and spacious patio offers great specials every night. Bar menu entrees (burgers, beef tips, salmon, etc.) are typically <$10. Even that is cut in half, along with the martini prices (also about $5) during some evenings and happy hours. That means you get to enjoy the food, service, atmosphere and music of one of the finest restaurants in Charlotte for what you'd spend at the local Applebees. If after a couple of martinis in the bar, you decide to pass on the bar menu and splurge on one of their succulent steaks, the full dining room menu is available for bar patrons.

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food is great and the service can't be beat. I'm not a lawyer, but I'm married to one and he loves it too. Some lawyers do have some class about them!!

really enjoyed our visit to Sullivan's last night. The hostess told us about the live jazz when we came in so we had a drink and listened before we ate. always have a good steak there but last night I had the sweet potato casserole and it was good enough for dessert. eveybody working there seemed so bubbly and friendly - they must feed them the steak before they start their shift!

We went to Sullivans last night. I was a little worried after reading the "Don't Go" review but my friend who had gone to a wedding dinner there war really excited about going so we went! Everything up until the steaks was fabulous! My steak was a bit to "chared" I had the coyboy steak. My friend told the watress that I was not satisfied. The waitress took it back to the kitchen and got a new one for me that was GREAT! The manager brought it out him self and took it off the bill! They were VERY nice about it! I did not expect them to take it off my bill because the made it right!! We enjoyed it VERY much! If your thinking about going I think you will be pleased!!!!

I love Sullivan's! Always a real treat! This time I enjoyed the Ahi Tuna....mouthwatering! My boyfriend enjoyed a tender, flavorful steak. I tried it & had to agree it was the best! The famous wedge w/blue cheese & mashed potatoes as usual were our favorite sides. Martini lovers will appreciate their perfectly mixed martini's! The atmosphere at Sullivan's is so warm & classy. Dining at Sullivan's is a must when traveling to Charlotte!
