Charlotte's original fast-food joint serves up suitably juicy burgers designed to satisfy your strongest carnivorous cravings. Sink your teeth into the ever-popular Big K Cheeseburger with the works, served by an ultra-friendly staff who believes in the ol' service with a smile. One of a kind !
GLDclt - 05/16/2008Family owned and operated. Very friendly and courteous, personal service. I don't know many places that emphasize serving their customers ay the level that they do. Also, the food is fabulous. The ice cream and shakes are to die for, and the prices are very very reasonable. You can still feed a family of 4 there for under 20 bucks ! Great place!!!!!!!!

lauridsdesigns - 08/24/2007My family's choice for the best burgers and onion rings. My husband and I have lived here all of our lives and this place can't be beat in our opinion. Oh and the milk shakes are incredible too.

barbarabuster - 11/13/2004I have been in Charlotte all of my life and have gone to Mr. K's ever since it opened. The food is good and the owner is friendly. If you are looking for a fancy place this is not it. This is like going home and getting a burger
Great burger and hotdogs
tcr8304 - 11/01/2004I have eat at Mister K.'s for over 35 years and the burger is hard to beat. I don't eat many hotdogs but will eat Mister K's. They are the best I have found in Charlotte. Even better than Green's.

kltilly1 - 09/10/2004Mr. K's is a Charlotte institution, family owned and run; ask for George or Michael (almost family; been there since age 15) and they'll take care of you. Excellent Big K burger, french fries, onion rings, sundaes, milk shakes (from scratch) and veggie burgers. Eat in or take out. Worth the calorie/carb/fat splurge.
An old favorite
bdavis54 - 09/08/2004I've lived in the Charlotte area for many years. Mister K's is always dependable with a good burger. Try the Mister K's with cheese, mustard, chili, slaw and onions. Also, try the onion rings if you can eat them before they get cold. I've seen lots of people getting their ice cream but have only tried their milk shakes a time or two. A quick call and your order is waiting and they've always got smile and a friendly word or two for you.
