One of the Queen City's most unusual dining experiences, Melting Pot's all-fondue theme makes it a sexy date spot as well as a fun and even slightly hedonistic destination for groups. Begin with a cheese fondue, with bread, vegetables and apple slices for dipping. Then choose your cooking style for the entree: Coq au vin, Mojo, Court Bouillion or Bourguignonne. Dunk a bite of uncooked meat or veggies (the huge selection includes fish, shrimp, sausage, chicken, beef, filet mignon, mushrooms, pork, duck and lobster) into hot oil until cooked, and then dip it in your choice of sauce.

Desserts are also served fondue-style, with nine choices of chocolate fondue (including swirled white and dark chocolate, amaretto chocolate, and milk chocolate swirled with bailey's Irish Cream) into which salivating diners can dunk fruit, cheesecake, pound cake and brownies. Romantic and dimly lit, the sensual Melting Pot experience is fun for groups but simply perfect for romance.

It is an excellent experience. I do highly recommend to choose the broth instead of the oil!!! You will not regret it. Server Chip is the best. Very romantic and well worth the $$$ for dinner. See ya soon Chip.

Excellent place for a romantic evening or with a group. AVOID cooking your food with oil, choose the broth instead. Why deep fry and make everything taste the same?!?!?

best time i have had in a long time, love it. it is expensive and that's fine WELL worth it. spend the little extra and don't use the oil and there is no smell, don't pinch pennies and you will love it. cooking your food is fun it gives you time to catch up with your spouse, use your time there.

My favorite place.........but can't afford to go much! Even my husband, who said he 'didn't want to play with his food before eating it' loves the place. Great cheese fondue, terrific cuts of seafood, beef, and chicken.......and a great chocolate fondue where you pick what kind of chocolate you want, along with what liqueur you want in it. Great place to impress someone or blow extra money.........great wine list, too.
