The readers of our fine city's local alternative rag voted it Charlotte's best pool hall, and if you like smoking, drinking, and racking 'em up in a friendly neighborhood dive, you might agree. Inside it's dim and a little cramped, and the haze of heavy smoke rarely clears, so don't fight 'em but join 'em. Light up one of your own, order a Bud and shoot a game of pool or heard for the dart row. Elizabeth Billiards is not the place to take a date, sip a chocolate martini, or sink into a buttery red leather banquette. Don't make the barkeep laugh. Come here to play bar games, shoot the breeze, damage your lungs, see familiar faces and head home at 2AM on a Wednesday night.

    Elizabeth Billiards is more than just a bar.It is the kind of place you walk into and say "this is just like my old bar, back home". The bartenders are friendly, the customers are the best and you can always find a game of darts or pool with someone aiming to teach you a lesson.They have recently added a line of sandwiches from Subway and a cool new juke box to keep the tunes flowing.If you haven't been there, go see Andy, Warren or Kevin and they will treat you right.

    The best thing about Charlotte! If you are lucky enough to become a regular, you will quickly find out that this is not just a group of people drinking beer and shooting pool. With the help of Andy and Warren, they raise thousands of dollars a year for charities by sponsoring golf tournaments, pool tournaments, disk golf tournaments or just plain old passing the hat. So if you’re in Charlotte, go by and toss one back and say hi for me.

    I've been a member of EB's for about 5 years now and I find it an excellent place to socialize and play pool. I'm not a dart player but there is a large area for that sport and seems to be a popular sport. I give it 10 stars, but you don't list that many!

    i am a regular at EBs.It is a really cool bar to hang out in,i dont even play darts or pool.The guys are a good bunch of people and the regular girls are awesome.Its also a great place for a lone girl to get a drink without worrying about being hit on,unless thats what you want.The bartenders are great and the beer is always cold

    I met my husband at the old EB's in 1992 and since then have been a regular visiter since last march due to back surgery, played darts, pool with teams and everyone at EB's is unique in their own way, especially ANDY, he is endless with knowledge and full of jokes and current events. I miss him and Warren, but i know they continue to serve the community with their special functions, rasing money for very needy causes. the pair are special and yes should be thanked for all that they do, they deserve to have a special award, no one else seems to put forth 110% effort as they do, plus try to live a normal life within normal hours,, could u? not me.. very special guys..my heart is with them always...
