Offering some of the most notable outdoor dining and people-watching to be found Uptown, Brixx is a perfect spot for drinks or dinner when the clubs are too noisy or smoky and you haven't got the dinero for Mimosa or Bijoux. Leave the formal duds at home and go casual to business casual at this family-friendly pizza chain offering some of the Queen City's most award-winning pies.

Flavors here are unusual, a la Wolfman: spicy shrimp and goat cheese, artichokes and pesto. All pizzas are baked in a wood-fired grill, and the smoky, tempting aroma drifts pleasingly into the dining area. There are hearty deli-style wraps, subs, salads and pastas, as well. Child-friendly Brixx offers a kids' menu, while mom and dad will like the wine list and beer selection. The great Uptown locale (funky Seventh Street Station, offering free parking after hours) definitely doesn't detract from the venue's fun, casual, neon-lit appeal. -- Jennifer Saylor

    A really awesome place... I have been there many times and the service is excellant and you hardly wait at all for your food... I give it more than 5 stars easy... Hope they put more Brixx around here :)

    Great pizza for all! Noise level can be tough in back part of restaurant to hear those sitting across the table from you, but still worth it.

    Food is good, not great. Some of the best pissa in all of Charlotte (not saying much); expensive $ pizza. Crowded atmosphere. Hit and miss with quality of servers.

    We loved the wood-fired chicken pizza and wood-fired veggie pizza. The beer selection is good and very friendly staff at the East Blvd location in Dilworth. Kudos!!!

    I actually give Brixx 10 stars because that is how many it deserves. After eating Brixx pizza, I no longer had a taste for fastfood pizzas. The pizza's there are so good. The atmosphere is relaxed and mellow during the day. But when he evening and night comes around it becomes this cool, trendy, laid-back restaurant. I absolutley love Brixx.
