Pretty soon a car hop-- who likely began delivering burgers here before you were born-- will serve up fried chicken, fish, sandwiches and shakes right to your window.

A true souther delicacy
bigman2x4x8 - 05/30/2008I grew up on the KING, as a child we would go out to eat there once a week, The car hops would wait on you even thou they had the speaker system. They got to know you and what you wanted to eat and drink. Now at 57years of age I take my Mom to the KING to get her a pound of BBQ and have a nice time remembering the good ole days. I drive over thirty miles to get to the BBQ King and pass a lot of BBQ places just to get to this PURE SOUTHERN DELICACY. NONE BETTER and a secret family tradition.
