Kashin is a traditional Japanese restaurant, decorated in light woods, soft colors and Asian prints. The space is small and fills up quickly with folks who appreciate Kashin's fresh sushi and sashimi. The crowds give the otherwise staid restaurant a festive feel. Servers and chefs are traditionally attired. The menu features an extensive selection of sashimi, including giant clam, tuna, squid and salmon, as well as several varieties of maki rolls, including spider roll and cucumber roll. If raw fish and seaweed isn't your thing, there are several cooked appetizers and entrees to choose from. Appetizers include pork gyoza, soft shell crab, beef tataki, vegetables tempura and edamame.
