It's been winning awards since 1984, and the name is synonymous with great steaks. The original location in historic Soulard uses brick walls, fireplaces, old-fashioned pictures and low lights at dinnertime to make visitors feel at home. All three Tucker's locations feature a beefy collection of steaks, including the porterhouse, strip, filet mignon, top sirloin and the biggest of the bunch, the 22-ounce center-cut sirloin. Each is grilled in the house steak sauce. Other entree choices include the pork loin chop, fish dishes such as orange roughy and 13 styles of pizza. The wings, burgers and blackened chicken sandwich are also favorites, and the lemon-pepper dressing makes the salads a popular entree choice as well. For even more value on food and drink, swing by Monday through Friday (4-6PM) for half-price pizza, appetizers and $1.75 Budweiser bottles.

I ate lunch there once and it was once too much. The steak was tough and tasteless, the potato was only cool and the service was poor (even though the palce was almost empty)

Kill the flies!

Okay, I'll grant you that Tucker's is good eatin', but the last 5 times I have dined there my table was under constant attack by small fruit-fly sized insects. They were buzzing the wine bottle and dive-bombing the butter cakes. This has happened, Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
I can't believe I am the only one that has experienced these pesky critters that always seem to ruin what would otherwise be a great steak dinner.Tucker's is the Best
This is the only place I will eat steak. After eating at Tucker's every other place is a dissapointment. We eat early to avoid the long wait. Prices aren't that expensive when you realize you've waisted your money trying steak at any other place in the metro area.
Tucker's Place

a bit expensive??? It has always struck me as being unbelievably reasonable for the quality food it serves.
Excellent Steaks

Definitely the best steaks I've ever had. It's a bit expensive and the wait is usually long, but well worth every bit of it.
Tucker's Place

Best steaks we have had in the St.Louis area.
Good service, nice ambiance.. Will return again soon!
