Everyone knows that The Hill has the finest Italian eateries and bakeries in the St. Louis area, but if you're looking for a place in the neighborhood where the whole family can kick back and have fun, Milo's is where you want to be. The front room elicits a classic pizzeria ambiance, but the expansive bar just inside the door won't let you forget that this is, first and foremost, a tavern where the liquor flows freely. Still, owners Tom Savio and Joe Vollmer pride themselves on running a family-oriented establishment, so big and little kids alike can get their kicks in the adjoining room playing video games, foosball, pinball and darts. The menu has fried appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and salads, and since you're on The Hill, try pasta, pizza or the classic meatball sandwich. But the Bocce Garden out back is where the real action takes place on any given evening, with two regulation bocce courts for both amateurs and experts, and plenty of four top tables on the side to keep the spectators comfortable.

Big Mistake!

We rented out Milo's for a birthday. We were allowed to bring in a bottle of alcohol. We didn't get our reserved bocce ball court, our seats, then the waitstaff told us how "good" our alcohol tasted. I guess they were too busy drinking our alcohol to give service. Because in two hours she only came three times and then our bottle was empty! I guess the waitstaff "really" liked it! Oh yeah then they chased us down like dogs asking for more money!!

10 cent wings with Monday Night Football!! What more do you need in life?
Poor service

Food is fair. It's what you would expect from a bar and grill.
The service is exceptionally slow, and the bartenders and waitresses are extremely rude.Mel's Review

Great place to watch sports or just hang out - friendly family atmosphere - owners are very hospitable and you automatically feel you've been there before
