An explosion of sound in Laclede's Landing, The Big Bang provides a welcome alternative to the club scene. You'll find plenty of floor space, two full-service bars, a smattering of tables and seasonal outdoor seating and a small stage where two baby-grand pianos face each other. People of all ages and backgrounds gather to listen as two phenomenal pianists pound out every song you can name. Don't be surprised if you hear 'Dueling Banjos' before the night is through. As they play, the performers joke back and forth, and audience participation is strongly encouraged. Be sure to bone up on your obscure singer/songwriters, because there are contests throughout the night. After some drinks, the crowd joins in a giant, off-key sing-along, with a few adventurous dancers mixing things up. Take a date to test their sense of humor, because if he or she doesn't mind singing off-key, then they should be good to hold onto until at least closing time.-- Jennifer Dockery

    I've never been so offended by a bar staff. staff didn't know how to make a good martini or mojito. Significant attitude from the staff, just flat our rude. Enjoy other bars on the landing over this one. The pianos are cool, but the staff just don't treat people well.

    The only bar in St. Louis that will you will consistently walk out of with a smile on your face. I've had so many great memories at the Big Bang and I would recommend everyone in the St. Louis area to check it out!!

    Loved, loved, loved it! Went there to celebrate a bachlorette party and experienced the best time possible! We are planning on taking our husbands there next time. All of the staff were terrific and the piano players were a riot! Too bad I don't work there!

    The staff was friendly, the service prompt, the beer cold and the guys playing the pianos were incredibly talented and energetic. They clearly enjoyed themselves and so did everyone in the audience!
