Located inside the Ameristar casino, Bottleneck Blues Bar provides relaxation with live music and some good Southern eats. They don't just play blues here, though. The acts range from '80s rockers to tribute bands. There's usually no cover unless a special act is coming, and you always want to check the Web site to see if you like the music going on that night. The place is decorated with lots of oak and antique, Western-styled lighting. The music plays pretty loud, and the TV screens flash in the background. It's a nice mix of all ages and backgrounds, but most of the people who come here are dropping by while gambling to have a bite to eat or a drink. There's a raw bar, but the best thing to have is the popcorn shrimp. There's lots of beers on draft and a range of cocktails, but there aren't many wines to choose from.
