The Levee perches itself right in between Westport and the Plaza, a fitting symbol for a joint that suits all types of fun-seekers. Younger and older, richer and poorer all pour into The Levee for a taste of live music. Whether you want to funk, get blue, jazz it up or rock out, the manager brings in local bands and some national acts to keep your feet moving. College kids and CEOs eat it up, with the slightly older set filling the room early and the youngsters shutting the joint down. You can shake it on the small dance floor, but the truth is that dancing happens everywhere else too. And dancing is almost a necessity for the bands that take over The Levee. But there's plenty of entertainment in sitting back too. Need an ear break? Head upstairs. A large screen and several perched TVs await the sports nut.

    I jast moved to town and watched disco dick play here and it was a great time for all ages. drinks where not to bad eather. I will go again!

    I've been going to the Levee for about six years now. And I am a friend and fan of Karma. They are a very fun group to watch. Wes has a pretty good set to on Tuesdays.

    Rude service, no parking, and a lot of undesirable looking bums lurking around. There doesn't seem to be anything good about this club that I can see.

    My friends and I used to come here all the time and party, but the band on the weekends is so lame that we can't even stand to come here any more...we party at John's Deck now...so maybe you should too! Just a little friendly advise from a party girl.

    I haven't seen a listing for Simplexity who also plays at the Levee every Wednesday and Thursday night, and still manages to pack the place on the weekdays as much as Groove Agency does on the weekends. This is truly a great band who have been around for quite some time now, and something everyone should look into!!!
