When they realized so many people were traveling to Lawrence, Kan., for a famous Yellow Sub sandwich, the owners of Planet Sub decided to do the metro area a favor and bring their fabulous subs to us. Every morning, the staff is hard at work baking hearty whole-wheat bread for their subs, and every ingredient is fresh and tasty. You won't believe the things the folks at Planet Sub will put on a sandwich. Choose from gourmet ingredients like artichoke hearts, portabello mushrooms, tomato-garlic pesto and fresh red peppers, to name a few. Traditionalists, don't worry -- you'll find every deli meat and cheese you can imagine.

In the cooler months, you can enjoy healthy, homemade soups, and vegetarians can always find plenty to eat. Planet Sub's owners are longtime supporters of Earth-friendly practices, but they don't just talk about it, they use environmentally-friendly products and recycle.     I crave these sandwiches! The bread is always toasted perfectly and they always seem to have the right mixture of veggies, cheese, and meat. I was very excited when I saw there was a Yellow Sub (Planet Sub) at KU , but they moved! My favorite is either the chicken, meatball, or veggie grinder. Oh so good.

    Planet Sub has become my absolute favorite sub place in KC! I have never eaten a sandwich there that wasn't terrific and I have been there a lot. The staff is always friendly and they are more than happy to make it exactly the way you want it. Definitely an A+!

    What can I say about this place?! I started going to Yellow sub when i boyfriend was attending KU..I absolutely love LUV the BBQ sub. although I frequent to the Planet Sub off of the Plaza but nothing beats Yellow Sub that is on the campus...stuck in the cubby hole :)

    The subs never change in taste. My wife and I drive 30 miles to get the best you can get in the K.C. area. None better than Planet Sub!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I grew up with Yellow Sub in Lawrence so it is great to have a taste in Kansas City/Olathe/Overland Park. The "Creamy Club" is the best. I always take my out of town friends and they are never diappointed.

    I love Planet Sub. I always get the "Planet Sub." However, I go to the one in Olathe, KS on 119th street between Strang Line and Blackbob. I'll agree that calling in your order at lunchtime is a good idea, since the place is packed.
