Out of all the dozens of bars located in the Westport area, The Newsroom is definitely the most unique. Formerly known as Kenny's Newsroom, the bar is set up with a newsroom theme. The decor is done up in black and white and there are even a few antique printing presses thrown in for good measure. Full of bar sports, they offer pool, video games, darts, and a diverse jukebox. The Newsroom is a nice place to stop in for a quick meal while cruising the many shops in Westport. Outdoor seating is available for those wishing to "people watch," and the menu offers delicious and relatively inexpensive American cuisine. -- Deidre Berry
