At its heart, the Beaumont Club is a country music dance hall. On a usual night, the dance floor is saved for DJ's who keep you two-stepping and honky-tonking. But when the owners throw open the doors for a concert, anyone might come in. The stage could feature the next big pop sensation, a heavy metal band, a hip-hop star and -- once in awhile -- an actual country music singer. That's what it takes to survive in Westport, which is a strange place to have a country and western bar. But make no mistake, when it is time for country there will be plenty of cowboy hats, Wranglers and cowboy boots in the crowd. On the other hand, the crowd will mostly be young and on the prowl, so it doesn't get too different from any other Westport bar. That's usually true for the concerts as well. If you're looking for your seat and a comfortable evening of music, look again. This is a place to push your way in and then stand or dance. -- Michael Humphrey

OMG!!! Bathrooms Redone!
kccouple78 - 02/24/2007I loved going to beaumont club, so many great shows, and so much fun, but the bathrooms sucked, I went back in and they are completely redone and clean! Thank you guys! I plan on being there every saturday night now!

Good variety of real cowboys, fake cowboys, and good ole city boys. The crowd is always changing. Saturday nights are the best night to go thanks to the DJ Ronnie! My only complaint is the bathrooms are atrocious. They have an inch of standing water every Saturday night and no paper towels half the time.

kangarookc - 01/28/2003Awsome place, not too small, redid the dance floor last year. It got abbused at one of the great concerts. Youthfull over 21 crowd with Rockhurst and UMKC nearby. Under 21 at some concerts. Thursday (Ladys night) and Saturdays are best.

They were really cool, the staff was friendly, my only complaint, though small, was that the crowd wasn't big like I had expected.. It was my first time there and I really had a great time.. The band was awesome...
