When you drive into the Fun House Pizza and Pub's parking lot, you might wonder if you've found your way to a Wild West re-enactment. The outside of the building is pure Old West saloon. The inside is pretty much a small-town pizza place, full of video games, big-screen televisions and the smells of cheese and pepperoni. All of the entertainment options aside, many come because the 'za is just that good.
If you're looking for a place that's not quite as loud as Chuck E. Cheese, and you want to enjoy a beer or two with your pizza while the kids play games, then Fun House Pizza and Pub is your place. They even have a large banquet room for those really rowdy birthday parties, and the atmosphere seems to be one of "anything goes." wow not really impressive
Krinkfish - 08/19/2008Well the pizza was not bad but it was not good. It was bland and the service was not great. We ordered our pizza and attempted to order something else and we were told the drinks were ordered spereately att he bar. So they lost money there. The man taking our drink order was fiarly rude. I guess if you gre up eating the pizza you MIGHT think it was wonderful but I had better pizza in grade school. We arrived there on a somewaht of a dare, We were in Independence and needed lunch. For anyone not famiuliar with Indepence and froma big city it is a little red neckish. I felt like I was in an episode form HE HAW. Obvously we were onthe one on 40 HWY. Hopefully the other location(s) are better.

rickorjanet - 06/04/2005Been eating pizza for 40 years. Funhouse was one of the first I tried. I've tried many more, but havent' found one to compare. It's definitely different than any of the "established, chain" pizzas. I just miss the train that used to run around the walls near the ceiling.

jrdd2422 - 02/08/2005I visited funhouse pizza 40hwy on 2-07-05 and was treated horribly. We had alot of parties at one table and the restaurant mistakingly gave us one extra pizza because we had such a large group, we all assumed the other parties had ordered the pizza and thus went unnoticed. The manager came over and caused a big scene and everyone in the building was staring and laughing. She pretty much called us thieves she was very unprofessional and rude. We were there for a birthday party and needless to say it ended pretty abruptly. I was in tears and very upset when I exited the building and would never suggest anyone go there if you are looking for good service.
