Don't let the word "pub" throw you. Andy Capp would be totally out of his element here; these establishments are about as seedy as seedless watermelon. This area chain of restaurants offers clean, wholesome, family-friendly dining -- invariably located in the middle of a clean, wholesome, family-friendly suburban shopping strip. Sports are a major theme at a Krieger's. Patrons dine and drink beneath wall after wall of framed photos of favorite jocks. The cleverly designed menu leans, as you might expect, toward what might be called pub food -- pizza, burgers, thick sandwiches, steak, chicken tenders and the like. These are popular places; the chain has grown quickly since kicking off in Chesterfield a dozen years ago, and more locations are on the way. The chain's signature dish is the blackened grilled chicken sandwich, featuring Cajun spices, onions, peppers and that hardy regional curiosity, provel cheese. -- HW

    All of the Krieger Pubs have gone down hill in the past months. Service sucks, foods cold and truly sucks

    Whether we are with our grandchildren or by ourselves, my wife and I have always been treated with the utmost courtesy and finest service at Krieger's Bar and Restaurant. Good food and family friendly prices. Our #1 place to watch a ball game or simply "hang out"!!!

    I brought 2 guests to your restaurant. The salad was really bad and the taco salad or taco(hamburger and a large taco shell) was really bad. The ribs were good but what a disappointment. I will not come back to your Chesterfield restaurant.

    CHILI BURNED
    REPLACED BY CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP THAT BASICALLY WAS SOME SOUP THAT HAD WHATEVER VEGGIES WERE LEFT OVER FOR THE DAY EXAMPLE ZUCCHINI. IT WAS AWFUL.
    SALAD 1/2 BROWN/ 1/2 RHINE.
    I DON'T THINK THEY CAN PREPARE A DECENT MEAL AT THIS RESTAURANT

    I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY CHILREN TO KRIEGER'S FOR FIVE YEARS. ALL OF THE LOCATIONS THAT I HAVE BEEN TO, HAVE TREATED MY FAMILY WITH LOVE AND CARE. I REALLY APPRECIATE THE KIDS EAT FREE NIGHTS. BEING A SINGLE MOTHER OF FIVE, THAT IS A GREAT VALUE.

    Be your own critic, try it for yourself. I love the place, and so do alot of other people if its been around for 13 yrs. With 26 locations and growing its nice to know they started out here Chesterfield.

  • BAD food, BAD service, and plenty of 2nd hand smoke!

    After many bad experiences, we've finally given up on Kriegers. In short - the dining area is right next to the bar which is always packed with smokers. The service is always awful; the fries are always stone cold (they make them ahead of time and let them sit around); the burger buns are stale and rock hard. I could go on and on.
