Visit the favorite ultra-casual barbeque joint with a menu that caters to grown-folks with big appetites and kids with a penchant for getting messy. The pork, beef, chicken, turkey and ribs served up at Bandana's everyday is seriously smokin', infused with the barbecue joint's signature, smoky flavor from being slow-cooked over a pit of choice hardwoods that's kept stoked 24 hours a day. Once the meat is smoked to perfection, the second step is the sauce. Bandana's features four different styles: original, sweet and smoky, spicy and hot! The Sunset Hills location is Bandana's corporate office. This regional chain of restaurants started in Arnold, Mo., in 1996 and now has at least 13 other locations to satisfy those who crave the que. These NBBQ (National BBQ Association) members serve up their smoked meats in sandwiches, platters, luncheon plates and combination platters. Side items are just as important to a barbecue experience and at Bandana's they include boiled peanuts, baked beans, corn on the cob, slaw, potato salad, baked potato, garlic bread, fries and Brunswick stew. Rojonetc - 07/25/2008HAVE BEEN IN AT LEAST 5 OF THEIR PLACES AND HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THEM TO BE EXCELLENT. MY ONLY GRIP IS THAT THEY DO NOT PUT OUT FRIG MAGNETS TO MAKE IT EASIER TO ORDER FOR PICKUP

Bandana's, My Favorite Barbeque!
Vol Fan 14 - 07/06/2008I have been eating at the Bandana's chain of stores for the complete 10 years that they have been in business. The only time that the meal was not excellent, was maybe in the first 2 weeks of opening a new store and when they are really busy, such as on Friday nights. The service is always excellent. My favorite is the pulled pork, but I certainly also recommend the beef, turkey breast, and ribs. I have driven 30+ miles several times just to eat there before they opened one in Jefferson City.

BHeldman - 06/10/2008Bandana's is amazing. They have plenty of choices, but it is hard for me to pass on the BBQ turkey. Its always tender and the sauce choices are great! BEST BBQ I HAVE EVER HAD!!!

Corgi11 - 06/06/2008We recently ate their for the first time while attending a wedding reception. We stayed at the motel right next to it so we actually went a couple times. We live in Chicago so there's lots of great BBQ but we still felt this was one of the best, especially for the price.
Best ribs in town.
DaroldJW - 06/06/2008I've eaten at three different locations and they have each been fantastic. The ribs are so good you don't even need the sauce which is served on the side. Loved the baked beans and personally really liked the garlic toast served with every lunch or dinner.
