If you've been at Mystic Lake Casino overnight (and who among us hasn't) and want to shake off the sensory overload, a hearty breakfast at this still intact 1950s diner in the heart of downtown Shakopee will restore your equilibrium. The Country Fried Steak is covered in gravy that tastes like the genuine article, and you can get a couple bucks off if you order it before 11AM. The unmistakable diner decor includes the standard Formica countertop with stools for those who prefer their eggs with the daily news, and a good 'ole pie case. You'll also enjoy all the strong coffee you can drink, a down-home wait staff, and an opportunity to hear someone say, ''Looks like rain...''
