New Manny's is not the old Manny's
Marlinberk - 08/20/2008Having been a 20 year customer of Manny's in Minneapolis and I have always rated Manny's to be my #1 restaurant ever, I visited the New Manny's with expectations that it would be similar to the old.
However, the noise level is unacceptable (I could not hear the person across the table from me). They say thay are trying to deal with the issue but no timetable was given for resolving the issue.
While visting the restrooms, I found there were no handtowels - so with wet hands I mentioned this to the maitre-d who indicated that it was the "hotel's" problem.
I ordered veal chops "black and blue" and they were served "medium" which was confirmed by the waiter after I had finished approximately half of my meal. He indicated that because of the move, the kitchen may have some problems.
For a restaurant that has always met my ideals of being the "best ever", this was an unacceptable experience.
My advice is to wait to see if the initial problems are resolved before "investing" in an evening out.Add Comment- SWENLAZYJ - 07/07/2008

STAR PATD - 06/11/2008We have been going to Manny's since it opened, it is outsanding. I travel all over the world and I try to select the best steak restraurants where ever I go. Manny's is the best in the world, not only for the steaks but the staff is by far the best service you will ever have including the managers and chef.
BEST STEAK EVER!
pss110673 - 02/20/2007This was the best steak I have ever had...it melted in my mouth!!! The outside was grilled just right and the inside was juicy. I recommend Manny's to everyone I know.
