Proprietor Allen Christian is a plumber by day and sculptor by night. His gallery displays dozens of works carved from bowling balls, bowling pins and other found objects. Visitors will be treated to a fascinating -- and slightly strange -- display of highly imaginative artwork. House of Balls is located in the Minneapolis warehouse district right around the corner from Moose and Sadie's coffeehouse. The gallery is open around midnight or by appointment, so call ahead before visiting, unless you don't mind peering in through the window.
