Being a "breakfast person", I am forever in search of real scrambled eggs and great breakfast potatoes.
Without so much as a doubt, Jensen's is the best by far. My husband and I will go out of our way every time to enjoy their food and great staff.
I wish they were open later, but am willing to rise early and wait in however long a line they have for a seat. The coffee and tea outside in the hall for those of us who are waiting is a great touch.
With the gift shop, Ficus & Fig, next door, the wait is really fun!
Keeping it a secret may get you a seat a minute or two earlier, but you find you just have to tell others! It's THAT good!

I went to Jensen's for my first time about a week ago and it was outstanding! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. I had the swedish pancakes with lingon berries and they were delicious. My husband had the blueberry pancake combo which was also exceptional. The blueberries were baked in and the bacon was to die for. Even the coffee was excellent! I can't say enough good things, I'll definitely be going back soon.

How great to have a real neighborhood cafe in Burnsville.
Great food, friendly efficient waitstaff, great location and warm inviting atmosphere. Jensen's has done it again!

About the food and service

Food is Excellent, however, they seem to always be "out" of something. I.e., multi-grain oat bread, muffins, etc,,,

Most servers are ok, however, it takes them a while to "warm up" to you. A little moody in the beginning.

I plan to eat there again because the owner is so very nice and the food is Great. Convenient location since there is a FREE parking ramp right next to the restaurant

The Greatest of All Time

This Cafe' is without a doubt, is best the Twin Cities has to offer! No other is like it or its food! It will not linger long in Jensen's Supper Club's shadow. Ask for a kids menu and see Grey's Grilled Cheese (the creator of the werk sauce). There's not one thing on the menu I woudln't recommend!

I'm somewhat hesitant to spread the word of how good Jensen's is as they're packing 'em already and I want to be able to get in!

Stopped by the first day they were open and was very impressed - very polished waitstaff and the food was definitely better than I expected. Was there again a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday morning and, even though they were very busy, the waitstaff was pleasant and attentive.

I recommend the omelettes and the Swedish pancakes.

Enjoy and save a spot for me!
