I got a little frightened when I discovered Grand Slam Sports. It's that gnawing sensation that lets you know if you bring your child to this place, they are going to give you a lot of grief about ever leaving. Because just about everything that an over-active kid could want is here. There's batting cages that pitch hard and softballs, including a 20 mph pitch for the younger ones. There's a slam dunk room where all the hoops are low enough for your kids to accomplish Michael Jordan style gymnastic feats. There's mini-golf. Although it's hard to believe that with Laser Tag also in the building you're seriously going to get a child to play mini golf. Perhaps the mini-golf is to sooth the parents frazzled nerves. Lastly, there's a giant video arcade and pool hall so that if any shred of adrenaline is left, it can expended without hazard. Visit the place, or rent it out for a party.
