    Took my girlfriend there last Saturday afternoon. Service was good but my pulled pork sandwich was very dry. Had to use a lots of BBQ sauce to get it down. My girlfriend had the ribs and said they were just OK.

    The music can be very good depending on who's playing. Food is average at best.

    I was extremely dissatisfied at this restaurant. My Husband's Prime Rib was overdone and didn't even look like Prime Rib at all! But worse... we were there for a birthday party of over 15 people. We knew less than half of them... they put us all on the SAME bill. Okay fine, that's their policy, but they might have let us know that ahead of time... when I told them that, the manager said and I quote, "We don't have time to tell everyone!" What a lame excuse!!!! When we let him know that we wanted to have the bill separated because we planned to pay by credit, he threatened to call the police on us! Ridiculous!!! It was then that we finally got angry!!!!

    How can you say here in Detroit when Mephis Smoke is in Royal Oak not Detroit. Why can't you just say her in Royal Oak-a subburb of Detroit.

    Its sometime since I been there but the was great and the music
    was the best. Now I work in novi and I to Red Hot and Blue the
    best red skin potatoe salad and pull pork. also the music very good .

    The best barbecue around Detroit has to be FAMOUS DAVES BARBECUE. IT IS FANTASTIC. Memphis Smoke was a big disappointment. Food was not tasty and the service was very frustrating.

    You've got to be kidding ... this establishment's idea of barbecue is ridiculous. The service is likewise as bad. Don't waste your time at this place and doesn't deserve a spot on this site. For a great barbecue meal try Oxford Inn in Royal Oak.

    The food was delicious...we had a WONDERFUL time in spite of the 2hour wait for a table on a Saturday night...bu tit was worth it.Best Q that I've had in ages.
