The old-style building conjures up memories of The Giant and Top Hat, two highly popular '50s-era Detroit burger chains. Owner Allen Owens prides himself on having the best prices around, and in an era of $4 coffee confections, plunking down a few coins for a hot cup of joe sure has its appeal.
