For diners who have never sampled authentic Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, PizzaPapalis will knock your socks off. And, even those who have will appreciate the pie here. While the wait just to get a seat on weekends can seem endless and the perfect pizza takes at least 30 minutes to bake, you'll find it's time well spent. Stuffed pizza several inches thick arrives to the table piping hot and oozing with enough cheese to prompt a stern lecture from your cardiologist. Those who prefer not to indulge will be quite happy with the variety of salads and other entrees. Since many kids (and adults, too) have experienced only the instant gratification of national chain pizza, this will be a real treat for the first-timer. And as a special bonus, the Greektown location runs shuttles to and from all Red Wings games.

    I'd just like to know with the restaurant heaven on M-59 between VAN DYKE AND GRATIOT. You'd think they would open up location somewhere in that area.With the new Partridge Creek mall,Lakeside Mall,and others Malls springing up in the fastest growing area of MICHIGAN.Why isn't there a PIZZA PAPALIS?

    I ate at the Dearborn Location.

    Pizza is good, with a very strong, garlicy spicy sauce, so be prepared for that.

    I would still put pizza IN Chicago above Pizzapapalis. IF you have to go, it is ok, but I probably won't rush back.

    Food was just OK. 4 of us sat there and watched the busboy drop the silverware on the floor and then set it back on the table for the next customer! Also my wifes plate was wasn't clean

    The pizza is very good and at a good price for what you receive. The only problem is that it takes longer to cook since it is so thick, so if you are in a hurry, wait until you have more time to enjoy it.

    Everytime I'm in Dearborn or Detroit, it's a must I stop at Pizza Papalis. They have the best pizza I've ever had. I highly recommend this place! You'll get hooked!! :)
