Those who haven't been back to A2 in a while may recall this staple as the Nectarine Ballroom. Names might change, but the Necto's reputation as "the only place to dance in Ann Arbor" maintains. Believe it or not, but heavy-hitter DJs from Carl Craig and Stacey Pullen to the likes of Bad Boy Bill and the dozens of others who make the rest of the world dance, have, at one time or another, represented right here. Necto is a veritable garden of electronic delights, what with its stunning lights and sick, sick sound system. The gay-friendly atmosphere has been long embraced by any and all patrons. Both the main room, and the downstairs Red Room come alive with either special DJ performances or fun, wacky themes (One of these was a Michael vs. Janet showdown of Jackson sounds). Necto is loud and proud with an epicenter of a dance floor.

    This is the only place to go dancing in Ann Arbor, seriously! I go there every thurs and sat and have a good ass time, great music and even better crowd every night.

    I love the place. The beautiful and friendly patrons make your experience not the bar or the Dj's. You always feel like you are with family and friends.

    Necto provides a taste of New York, Chicago type clubs in the heart of A2. Great sound system, lighting, and very original bar drinks. (try and find barbies t*** juice anywhere else!) Hip-hop saturdays and gay night onb fridays Necto is an all around good time. 18+

    Cool, Cool, Cool! They have got it all together, good music, great dj's...perfect change to local sports bars. What we need now is an outdoor patio!!!

    kewl klub that has no identity issues...worth the drive to the westside:True
    best gay nights and sexy college girls

    The staff was slow and rude . The music was not what was advertised. The drink and cover prices were way to high. Other than that it was cool
