In a city that's been deluged with cantinas, it can be tough to stand out in the crowd. But Las Margaritas lives up to its name, serving killer frozen and on-the-rocks margaritas in 16-ounce glasses or pitchers. They're also available in a rainbow of flavors, including strawberry, raspberry, mango and the fruit-infused baja rita, along with daiquiris and pina coladas. After a drink or so, you might not be able to taste the food or have the appetite, especially if you chow down on the toasty chips and spicy salsa that seem to come out in unending quantities. But most items are meticulously prepared, with full explanations on the menu. Offerings are basic tacos, tamales, enchiladas and more along with numerous plated dishes with variations of meat, cheese, veggies, rice, beans, spices and sauces. Servers also gladly describe particulars and prepare entrees to your specifications.
