Your pitcher is never empty and the big crabs keep a-comin' at Bill's on Eastern Avenue. Neighborhood folks and locals agree that this traditional crab house serves up the largest and meatiest steamed crabs in Baltimore, even during years of underweight harvests. Bill's crabs come in other incarnations too -- huge crab fluffs and mighty crab cakes, to name a couple.
Drop some coins in the jukebox and pick away or sit in the big backroom, at the old-time tables and catch an O's game. Don't be surprised to see Boog Powell over in the corner -- picking away with you. The former Oriole calls the huge crabs here "aircraft carriers."
Servers are known as the friendliest in town and fans all agree that Bill's makes a crab picking frenzy affordable. You can phone ahead for prices. You can also get your crabs to go. -- Denise Iacangelo

Very Good wink wink
The crabs are nice size for what you pay but thats about it. If you compare the only good thing to the place (the size of the crabs) to the down side such as the steak seasoning they use on crabs, the lack of waitress's, to many bar tenders, horible food, the 2 hour wait for crabs, and the un organization of the whole place, it would be a better choice to put your money in your pocket an REVERSE it!

Crab Crazy
I love Steve & Tina's crabs. They always treat me wonderful when I come in. I am fortunate enuf to live walking distance, and when I smell the crabs..I start wondering up to 200 Eastern Ave. My kids,Grandkids & I have been going for years. Crabs are NOT fishy, empty,or mushy. Thanks Darlene
Not what it's cracked up to be...
Recently, we tried Bills because we heard such great reviews and boy were we dissapointed. When we got there we were given a number and waited 2 hours before we actually got crabs. The crabs for the price were heavy but also had a bacon-y taste. We will not go back there again.

I have lived in maryland all my life, and have had crabs all over this state!!!!!!! you will not find better crabs or service,Sometimes you have a little wait, but you know, GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT.............
Always Satisfied with Quality and Service
Bill's Terrace Inn, run by Bill's son Steve, is the best crabhouse in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The crabs are steamed to perfection and always arrive at the table hot.
Start the evening with a bowl of the crab soup and a crabcake and then move to the steamed crabs for a genuine feast. The beer is always cold and there is a good selection of soft drinks for non-beer drinkers. Forget all the hype you get about the high profile places in Canton, etc. This is the place for total satisfaction and real value.MARYLAND'S BEST CRABS HERE!!!
WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO SAY. BEEN A MARYLANDER ALL MY LIFE, THESE ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST EVER.

Bills has "set the standard" for me where Steamed Crabs are concerned...Owner "Steve" runs a fantastic place for anyone looking to get out for the evening to just sit back, relax, catch a Baseball/Football game while pleasing your tastebuds on their JUMBO steamed crabs, which Steve personally steams himself to absolute perfection...Steve will make you feel right at home!
