If you go on the peak evenings, you could be surprised with some less than perfect service or food.... although I never have been. Weekdays you are almost guaranteed of the best food and service in Baltimore.

The sirloin is terrific... so are the lobsters...

Scott is the best server in the city....

Clearly the most consistently high quality food and service in the area. I have eaten in Ryth Chris' restaurants from Hawaii to New York . They are in a league with the best.

I have spent the better part of my adult life in steak houses. Nationwide, Ruth's Chris is one I have not missed. In most instances the service in the Baltimore restaurants has been above par. Depending on your Karma, you will get either an exceptionallly well cooked steak or a piece of meat trying to pass itself off as prime aged beef. The Annapolis Ruth's Chris was, a couple of years ago, one of the VERY best houses in the area, rivaling Lewnes. As GM, Gaby Haddad ran an outstanding show. The beef was perfect and if not, Gaby made certain that it was immediately replaced with beef that was. The Annapolis RC had a great couch lounge in the bar area where everyone had drinks before dinner. It was also a meeting spot for many of us who dined at other establishments in Eastport and met at the end of the evening for cocktails and cigars. Unfortunately, all of that changed when Gaby left for Baltimore and some marketing genius removed the couch lounge and shut down the most intimate part of RC. Without a GM like Gaby it did not take long for the service, steaks and ambiance of RC Annapolis to tank. This once "most talked about" watering hole and steak house in Annapolis has become a sub par restaurant that serves a steak. Shame, shame. Steve DeCastro must be aware of the demise of RC Annapolis. Yet, for over a year is has been allowed to languish in mediocrity. Oh, well. We've got Lewnes.

This is the best resturant to take anyone from business to the love of your life. Service is the absolute best, none can compare. The sides are large enough to share. Everything tasted wonderful.This was the towson location.

I have eaten at the Power Plant restaurant many, many times and have never been ,disappointed. Ask for Scott as your waiter, a true professional who doesn't miss a thing. He has assured a very positive outcome on every visit, so much so that on his first visit to our table, he is bringing me my usual drink. My favorite restaurant in the country!

I will never eat there again

I have eaten there on 2 occasions and its been awful both times. The steak was overcooked to the point it was inedable and the 2nd time it was bloody and had to be sent back. Paying a seperate price fr your sides is insane.

Not up to reputation

My only experience at Ruth Chris was a surprise birthday dinner for my husband for a group of 5. We had dinner & a show at the Imax. The waiter was brisk and the steak was overcooked. I have only read rave reviews which only compounded my disappointment. One day I would like to return and reverse my opinion of the food & service. Their success as a "steak house" must certainly have a strong foundation and I believe my experience must be the exception.

i have eaten at all of steve's resteraunts and the annapolis location is by far the best jen behind the bar is superb and the management and the wait staff is the best the food is better then downtown this place is all about service and ambiance

i am there at least twice a week
