Outstanding In Every Way

My husband and I love Ruth's Chris. This particular location is our favorite. It's classic, has the very best service we have ever had at a restaurant, and the steak is to die for. We started going there for special occasions, but now we're hooked and we go much more frequently, especially when we don't want to compromise on any aspect of our meal or experience.

Service excellent, food excellent. Not much more to say after that. The experience my wife and I had at the Water St location in Baltimore was some of if not the best service we have every had!

I am very picky about my steak.When eating out,I never order steak unless i'm at Ruth Chris's Steak House.We've been to several of their locations.Our food & service have always been outstanding!!! Their steaks melt in your mouth!!! I tell everyone to go there.Five stars all the way!!!

My wife and I have been to Ruth's Chris Steak Houses in several cities, and we've never been disappointed. The Water Street edition is especially nice, and the service is outstanding!

Only a fast food junky would rate their steak less than 5 stars. We've (my wife and I) yet to get a bad steak from them. Like Pavlov's dog, when you hear that plate coming towards you sizzling, you can't help but drooool. If there's a better place for steak...I haven't seen it, and we've been to the top 6 on this list.

IT'S A REAL TREAT TO GO TO RUTH'S CHRIS STEAK HOUSE! YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY! THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY AND I'M NOT MUCH OF A RED MEAT EATER! IF YOU CAN AFFORD A REALLY NICE NIGHT OUT THAN THIS IS WORTH THE MONEY AND THE TIME!!!!

This past fall I had one of the worst dining expriences in my adult life at Ruth's Chris Downtown. There was 8 of us out for my girlfriend's birthday. I made reservations weeks in advance and pre-ordered a bottle of Champagne. We were sat in the center of the upstairs dining room among utter kaos. It took 15 minutes for our waiter to even acknowledge us. After that it just got worse. We ordered in a timely fashion but he waited so long to put it in that they ran out of the special that my girlfriend ordered. Unbelievable. Then, apparently, the general manager was now waiting on us. If so I was not impressed. We ended up clearing our entire table after the appetizer's because there wasn't any more room for glasses. The entree finally came. We had agreed to get a 5 .lb lobster for the whole table to share. IT WAS RAW. That was the last straw. We asked for our bill and the manager gave us a free bottle of dessert wine that we didn't even want. They did take the RAW lobster off the bill -- ahhh....yah think!

All in all it was a miserable experience. All 8 of us had been there before many times and now none of us will go back and we tell everyone we know about our awful experience. We did contact the management by phone, email, and regular post but thay chosen to ignore our complaints.

I have been to Ruth's Chris Steak House in Seattle, New York, and Baltimore, each and every one has been spectacular. The steak has always been cooked as I prefer, the sides are delicious, and the waiters are great and knowledgeable. As a frequent traveler, I have had steaks all over the country, including out west at known Steak Houses. Ruth's Chris is tops.
