Way Over Rated
The Prime Rib is so over rated it is not funny. They jam the tables so close to one another the New York City subway is less crowded. They think they are doing you a favor by taking your order. Way over priced on top of all that and I have dined in some of the finest restaurants in this country and Europe.
Add CommentThis is why we are called Baltimorons
I voted Prime Rib as the best, and I believe it is the best of any type of restaurant in town. Then I see the voting results and Outback Steakhouse has the same rating as the Prime Rib. That is a sad statement about the people of Baltimore.........now it won't suprise me if a place that serve cheese steak subs will receive a better rating. What a bunch of morons. Please visitors to Baltimore, don't cheat yourself by not going to one of the best restaurants anywhere because we are still so blue collar, that these idiots rate Outback the same as this fine place. It's a real embarrasment to me to say I live among such a bunch of uneducated hillbillies.
Merely expensive
I've visited the RIB many times. The lights are low so complexions
are better. If they had a kosher hot dog on a roll, it would set you back
twenty, at least. The roast beef is tougher than it used to be; and I did run into a waiter who called my party "you guys". Overall, I can't think of
a better place to spend your employer's money, but certainly not your own. Don't forget your doggy bag.Overrated!

Been there twice. the food was just average, the service was terrible, and the prices were outragious. (My wife and I really like being called "you guys" by waiters in supposed fine restaurants).
simply the best
from the leopard print carpet to the grand piano and string bass, not only is the ambience of this restaurant but the service and quality of the beef is extradorinary. Take it from someone that's been to all of the restaurants listed, The Prime Rib is where it's at.
Captial Grille - ask for your steak oven roasted no char, they automatically serve their steaks - "pittsburgh style".
I'm not sure Outback even belongs on this list. Lewnes' in Ellicott City doesn't even come close to the competition on this list, only a fair product, lousy service. Not worth the drive when you have all these other legitimate places to eat.SLURP! YUM!
One of the best in the city.
Excellent service [espececiall the server Christopher].
Food was hot, timely, delicious....
Decor was comfortable.....
A totally worthwhile dining experience.Flawless steak and crab
This institution is flawless. Do you enjoy perfect steak, perfect crab dishes, and perfect service? If so, treat yourself to the pinnacle of restaurants.
Pure quality.
Has no equal in Baltimore, Philadelphia or DC....consistently over the years. Kudos to Buzz for being able to maintain his high standards in his three metropolitan locations even today. No one else has captured the dream.
