You'll find no nouvelle pretensions at Amicci's. This homey and friendly Italian eatery has found a place for itself among the restaurants of Little Italy by serving uncomplicated, comfortable Italian food in a relaxed atmosphere. Both Baltimore Magazine and Baltimore's City Paper have singled out Amicci's as a good place for inexpensive eats. It's not surprising as the ambience, though casual, is pleasant and filled with little Italian touches, and the food is always made with fresh ingredients.

The extensive menu is filled with everything you'd expect from lasagna and baked penne, to chicken parmigiana and the all-important pasta of the day with meat sauce. There are also several vegetarian options like eggplant parmigiana and baked tortellini as well as a kids menu and (of course) a generous selection of desserts.
