Think rustic mountain lodge with a dose of dry Canadian Rockies' humor. This is a restaurant decorated with fake stuffed moose that burst into conversation and fish that flap into life. And you pretty much have a front row seat for it all, whether you're settled in a woody nook, in front of a fireplace or the big screen TV. While Bugaboo is a mining term used by prospectors to describe a dead-end lead, expect a menu that's nothing but "right on." It's chock-full with made-to-order appetizers, including the very popular Bunyan Onion, a gargantuan fried onion bloom, golden and crispy, and sprinkled with seasonings and crowd-pleasing entrees: well-seasoned steaks, roasted chicken, grilled fresh salmon and freshwater fish. And if you're a chocoholic, the dessert lineup sends the mind adrift with the Big Foot Chocolate Cookie, all warm baked and topped with creamy vanilla ice cream or the Bugaboo Peek Triple-Layer Chocolate Cake or the Cabin Fever Chocolate Moose Pudding Cake.

The Bugaboo restaurant chain has spread to more 30 restaurants across the country, though 12 are located in Massachusetts. If you're pressed for time or trying to beat the holiday crowds, this is one of the few restaurants where you can actually call ahead and have the hostess put you on the waiting list for seating.

This is an awful steakhouse! Their quality of beef is so horrendous I wouldn't feed it to my dog!

Placing this restaurant in the same catagory as Flemmings, Mortons, Abe & Louies or Ruth Chris is an insult to the intelegence of your viewers. You call into question the believeability of all your reviews and show a real lack of integrity.

when the first "bug" opened (1992/warwick ri) it was "the place to have a steak", great food, great service, the NY strip is the best steak on their menu. Ned Grace had a great idea with "the bug", remember he also opened the Capital Grill, but both the "bug" and the "grill" he sold to Long Horn steak house. But as time went on after Ned, the quality of food and service are not the same, i saw many changes in my 12 years at the "bug", many great some not so good. but all in all the steaks are pretty decent. This is My Favroite place to eat in the whole city. Thier Bar has a full line up of great bevrage choices. Including thier Moose Juice witch is pineapples soaked id Dove Vodkaq for 24 hours the pressed. It is asome.

Thier Steak is the best in the State as far as I am concerned. The Nashua location is right of Interstate route Three at Exit Six in the Nashua mall and plazza Dennys is right across the lot.

Being perfect for children says it all. The food is pretty good and that's about it. With the talking animatronic moose on the wall, not where you'd want to go on a Saturday night .
