The first Boston hot spot launched by nightclub mega-mogul Rande Gerber (known by most un-hipsters as Cindy Crawford's husband), Whiskey Park is the swankiest stop for well-to-do local singles, providing them with a fun and glamorous setting that also gives The Hub some needed glitz. It's a posh Manhattan import through and through, with cozy leather couches, black mirrored ceilings, a VIP area and thinly clad waitresses. The scene at Whiskey Park is a diverse crowd, with young urban professionals mixing with Europeans decked in clubbing garb. All of them are working hard to see and be seen, with many regaining their cool after the long, sometimes humiliating wait outside. Come before 8PM to avoid this scenario, especially since some have accused the doormen of selective practices (and really, isn't that their job?).

There's never a cover, but as you can expect, it's not cheap once you get inside. Patrons can order food from the Park Plaza Hotel's kitchen anywhere in the club, and most drinks start at $10.

A friend of mine and I were picked out of line to go in!!! We both said we didn't mind waiting and the bouncer said "we can't afford to have you two ladies outside!" WHAT is that supposed to mean? Sorry, but I took offense to that as it was insulting to other people not "picked" and may have offended others. This is why kids puke to look like Paris Hilton, because of bouncers like this!

Once inside, I WISH we insisted that we stayed outside. It was packed, full of plastic fake people with strings holding their little outfits together. It was a cheap night, couldn't get a drink through the bar, ordered from a waitress several times and had ONE drink but was there for three hours!

If you want to be sober, this is the place to go. No time to serve you a drink, even if you were choking to death.

Whiskey Park is probably the trashiest place in town. There are so many other great lounges and bars in that area, like Excelsior, which is just around the corner, that I would much rather see at the top of your list. I suppose if you want to be bumped around all night by silicone and acrylic then hey, Whiskey Park's your place. But fellas beware, if you think the young, blonde, barely dressed babe you've been buying drinks for all night is going home with you, chances are you wrong. Dead wrong.

i thought this place was excellent...but it gets very packed inside and hard to move around, the chicks are amazing here, my only complaint is the wait outside, the bouncers are on a power trip there, and treat you very badly at times, but the good ol 20$ slip in the hand works dandy...
