Two meals a day, every day is Mike's gift to the city. President Clinton ate here and loved the eggs and grits and devoured his ham, which is cut off the bone. A truly eclectic dining experience, you get neighborhood folks, cabbies, cops and workers from the nearby hospitals. Mike is no longer here, but his practice of roasting turkeys, cooking hams with the bone in and never skimping on the mashed potatoes remains.

Best breakfast in town!
members of my church choir eat at mikes at least one Sunday a month. Pancakes are light, eggs fluffy, grits hot and buttery, healthy slices of ham and if your like me and don't eat pork... The beef sausage is the BOMB!!
breakfast for the real people
standard american greasy spoon fare. generous portions, flexible with adding more items or adjusting the meal this is the type of place where you can go in casual clothes and relax, or after a night of partying, show up in the morning with your party clothes on and no one will look twice. Friendly service with a smile and a wink every bite was worth the dollar! 20 dollars and you've got meals for two and some left over for the pepto (for those of us who can't handle big protions like we used to.... :) ) i will spend anything from 2.99 to 299 for a meal - it's all about the service expectations and the food and what i consider to be the value - A bottle of fine wine and a roasted bird in cream sauce
