A pool hall may not seem like the best place for a first date. It's dank and noisy, and the tables are often scratched, warped, or worse, beer- stained. Not so at the Boston Billiard Club. In fact, the opposite is true. In all of Boston you won't find conditions for billiards as good as they are at the BBC. The pristine tables are lined up like soldiers in cadence; the wood-paneled walls and brass fittings create a refined atmosphere akin to an Old English hunt club. A game room hosts video games and pinball, while over the sizable bar, TVs show the local game. Yes, it's a pool hall, and yet it's more.
The crowd here is a social, pool-loving bunch. Groups, couples and singles come to enjoy a game of stick, a drink and the music from the fantastic sound system.
True pool fans can join a BBC league. The handicap system it employs makes it a blast and gives everyone an opportunity to win.Members get discounts and deals on merchandise at the pro shop.

save room for food!

Not only a great atmosphere, friendly service, great pool rates, and clean, try the food too! Our company has had numerous functions in their private rooms, (thanks..I think Lisa is her name?) and all were impressed with the assortment of food. Hot and delicious. Many hi-def TV's around to catch local (and National) sports -
If you're looking for a gross, dark, smelly, unclean club with crappy tables, and sub-standard service....go somewhere elseAdd CommentPool Rates $3 $5 $8
Boston Billiard Club has brought there pool prices down to the most economically priced thing since gas during President Clinton's years in office. With pool prices starting at $3 during the day, everyday til 5pm and Sunday through Thursday nights after 5pm only $5 how can you go wrong? It is even affordable on weekend nights with it being only $8 after 5pm on both Friday and Saturday. There is no better place in Boston to take a date, hang out with friends or watch a Red Sox game (who cares if the are out of it, remember it's the Sox). Trivia night on Wednesday night is a blast with fantastic prizes for the top 3 teams. Wednesday nights also is Ladies night at Boston Billiard Club. So if you like playing pool and having a great time there is no way you can go wrong at Boston Billiard Club, Home Of $3 Pool!

Change in Scene
Boston Billiard Club went through a massive renovation in June of 2001, they added another 15 tables and 22 private rooms. Recently they changed thier entire staff and brought in a new female General Manager who has brought life and excitement to the game and the club. The club offers Free Pool School on Monday Nights with the House Pro from 7:30pm-9:00pm. They updated the menu in 2003 to add filet mignon steak tips, pastas, wraps as well as burgers and apps. The place is open till 2am every night and serves food till 1am. Great for late night munchies. The crowd has been seeing more women for just socializing as well as Pool playing. They offer a sweet deal on Wednesdays where each girl gets 25% off table time all day long...so 4 girls and its FREE POOL all night. They have $1.00 Miller Lite drafts all the time as well as a huge bar selection. The place is clean, the music level is normal and the atmosphere is far from the haunt of pool sharks, pool rooms, and noisy college bars.
