High ceilings, exposed brick walls, wooden beams and a laid-back staff are most inviting at this reliable eatery, also known as one of New Orleans top jazz clubs. The menu confidently operates within a well-defined niche that centers on hearty Angus burgers, prime steaks and traditional Creole seafood dishes. In citywide polls Snug Harbor's burgers consistently show up at the top of the heap. Other edible favorites include the shrimp remoulade, barbecued shrimp and entree-sized salads.
