Bkdcarr - 06/11/2008The last time I was there the BarKays were singing. It's been a while. Probably the only place left to hear authentic Memphis music since Blues Alley closed down. Only problem is, if you want to have a conversation, you have to carry it outside, because brother, it's LOUD in there!

Bouncers Murdered Patron 1997
zandernat - 01/26/2006In what all eyewitnesses concur was a wholy unprovoked attack, eight of the bouncers employed by BB King's Blues Club bludgeoned, suffocated and crused a young tourist to death on July 17, 1997. I personally don't want to go to a place where the employees murder the guests and I don't think anyone else would either, if they know about it. BB Kings has done everything they can to hush up the incident but the truth always comes out eventually. Be very, very careful if you go to this hell hole.
