Along with The Whisky and The Roxy, The Troubadour is one of Los Angeles's landmark live music spots. While the Sunset Strip clubs do their thing and Spaceland has the hipster cred, The Troubadour continues to book a solid, adventurous schedule that offers concerts most nights.

With its modest stage, bleacher-style balcony and various bars (including an enclosed VIP loft), the club is cozy without feeling too small, and this intimacy always adds to the band's performance. A favorite among Angelenos and a must for tourists looking for live music, The Troubadour helps LA maintain its flavor.

Note: While ticket prices are usually on the low end, averaging $10-$20, online "convenience" and services fees often double the cost. Although the box office sells tickets at face value, it only does so the day of a concert, so you'll have to suck it up and pay the ludicrous online price if you think the concert might sell out.

No offense, but hasn't this site heard of McCabe's!? The Troub hasn't been hip since Donovan played here and that was eons ago. OK, maybe the Motely Crew and Gun's n Rose's era, but they were exceptions to the no-name, go no where, speed metal bands that play here all week long!

Wonderful atmosphere and all in all a great venue. We went there whilst on holiday in LA from the UK - one of the best nights of the holiday.

I have lived here all my life and only recently attended a concert there. I have been to concerts everywhere but I have to say the intimate setting at the Troubadour is definitely the only way to enjoy live music. I can't wait to go again!
