Borrowing its architecture and decor from the Grand Canal, the Venetian's Grand Lux Cafe is an excellent choice for casual dining in an upscale environment. The Cafe is affiliated with the popular Cheesecake Factory chain, and like its counterpart, the restaurant serves portions that are huge and features a menu as long as the New York Times bestseller list. There are more than 150 items to choose from for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night dining. Popular choices include the southwestern salad, teriyaki salmon and, of course, cheesecake. Seating can be a little tight, so be prepared to meet the folks at the next table. The 100-seat bar serves one of the best Bloody Marys in town, and the bakery features coffee, espresso and assorted calorie-packed pastries and sweets. Brunch is particularly heavenly here.

chaseway9 - 09/29/2007The breakfast buffet was really good. This included juice and coffee as well. It was a good deal because if you order juice or coffee, that is already about $4.50 each. The breakfast buffet itself was around $13. The selection was limited but some food was good. The custom made omlet bar was really good. I ordered the waffle myself and my girlfriend ordered the buffet. The omlet was pretty good and I had no complaints about it. I think it was pricey overall for breakfast, but I already expected that since it is Vegas.

sunskier87 - 12/18/2005Eating at this restaurant was one of the worst experiences of my life. Service was slow and then shortly after eating I had a horrible case of food poisioning and had to be hospitalized for 3 or 4 days, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
