Simple, hip, tasty and relatively affordable are words that spring to mind when thinking about Reginelli's. This is a place popular with all sorts of people, from teenagers to older couples to young professionals to Uptown moms. Reginelli's dining atmosphere is an open, airy space with soft colors (blue, green and orange) dominating the walls, tables and wooden chairs.

The menu is an artfully compact compilation of salads, pizza, baked pasta, calzones and sandwiches. Highlights of the menu in the pizza realm include the Sun Pie (marinara sauce, cheese,sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil leaves and mushrooms) and the Irish Feast (garlic herb sauce, chicken breast, new potatoes, tomatoes, rosemary and green onions). The recommended baked pasta is the Manicotti Caponata, featuring ricotta seasoned by herbs and parmesan cheese and covered with a sauce of eggplant, green olives, capers and roma tomatoes. Reginelli's is also known for its muffuletta sandwiches, pitas and the $2-beer-pitcher special on Monday and Tuesday nights. -- Billy Thinnes

    Food is pretty good.
    Parking is a big problem since I do not trust the neighborhood to walk a few blocks from car to restaurant

    The atmosphere here is very friendly and the food was wonderful, and a very nice change of pace. My hubby had the "Dream State" which is one of Reginelli's specialty Foccacia Sandwiches made with Roasted eggplant, walnuts, goat cheese a touch of pancetta mixed greens and a tasty balsamic vinaigrette. It was huge and very tasty and for 6.95 quite a bargain. I had the Chicken Pita Sandwich and it was just as tasty. The Italian beer was also ice cold.

    I'd have to go ahead and aggree that Reginelli's may be the best pizza around this city. the Breadsticks are to die for! their speciality sauces are so carefully blended by the man with dreadlocks in the back! i go to reginellis once or twice a week and i love it! it beats italian pie any day!

    The Reginelli's on Magazine is the best! Their pizza is excellent, as well as their breadsticks and pita press sandwhiches. The place is quick and affordable, and has a very appealing and intimate atmosphere that is very attractve. Go there now!!

    I've only been to the one in River Ridge but they have great pizza - especially the Four Cheese and the New Potato.
