Located in the heart of Bourbon Street, Razzoo is the tourist's dance club. Below its red neon sign, employees stand with posters advertising drink specials. Inside, two bars straddle a medium-sized dance floor, while the front reveals a bandstand with a drum set prominently displayed in the window. Sometimes cover bands play songs along the lines of 'Who Let the Dogs Out,' but usually there is just one person onstage, singing along to records and trying to excite the crowd. The music is a harmless mix of mainstream dance hits, current and old, with nothing to offend a customer. The clientele comes from all over the country and ranges in age from boisterous frat boys to sloppy-dancing fortysomethings. If you can work your way past these party animals, you'll find Razzoo's outdoor patio toward the back. You can buy a shooter from a wandering "shot girl" or grab a beer and sit at a table by the fountain. The patio can be a refreshing breath of clean air from the smoky, sweaty dance room. Of course, if you were looking for a calm, clean place to relax, you wouldn't be on Bourbon Street in the first place.

Good club, but don't they know that it's illegal to decide on a whim what age group they will let in? I went with a group of friends and they only let the 19 and 20 year olds in, but not the 18 yr. olds. The next group that walked in, some were 18. Legally, they cannot do that.

this places rocks, great drink specials 3 for 1 every day until 9 pm, the employees are the best, such friendly and warm welcoming doormen, you got to love them, i'm there every weekend, keep up the good work, love you all.

This club should be closed because it's caused countless injusry to customers and now actually killed someone. Had the owners cared to hire professionals, someone's young son would not have died facedown on Bourbon St.

THEY MURDERED A MAN THERE

WATCH OUT FOR THIS PLACE !!!!! A MAN WAS IN TOWN AND WENT THERE AND WAS MURDERED BY THE BOUNCERS BECAUSE HE WAS NOT MEETING THE DRESS CODE TO GET IN THE PLACE SO THE BOUNCER THUGS ATTACKED HIM AND HE DIED I WOULD RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ITS JUST ANOTHER STUPID FR QTR CLUB THAT HAS ALOT OF TROUBLE.AS FOR THE MURDER CHECK IT OUT IT WAS ALL OVER THE NEWS AND IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION THEY WILL BE CHARGED WITH MURDER.

YOU GOTTA GO THERE!! We came to NOLA for an orthodontic convention during Halloween '04 and we LOVED Razzoo's! They sure showed the girls from Virginia how fun it is in New Orleans! It was by far the best club on Bourbon! The music and drinks were great and the atmosphere was awesome! The staff made sure we had a great time! We are looking forward to returning for the 2006 National Orthodontic Convention!
