A city fave since its earliest days, locals depend on LPK for reliably delicious gourmet pizza, fresh from the wood-fired oven. The menu features more than 20 varieties, all boasting tasty combinations of choice veggies, cheeses, seafood and meat. New Orleanians show decided loyalty toward the roasted garlic pizza, thanks to its subtle balance of spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, feta, mozzarella and garlic with a serving of crispy Caesar salad on the side. Pasta dishes are served here, too, but they haven't caught on in quite the same way. The ambience evokes a New Orleans/Provencal fusion with its eclectic art and low-key atmosphere.     No doubt this is the best Pizza around. Haven't been home since Katrina so I'll be stopping by soon. The food is great and the people watching is better. Glad to know that they survived. This was one of the places that I always tell people to go......................it's a must do when visiting, and was there at least once a week when living there.

    For the price and the quality go somewhere else. The crust is too thin and the sauce is less than you would expect on a pizza.

    Excellent food...try the salmon caesar salad. It's wonderful. The prices are a little too high though..thus the 4 instead of 5 stars.

    it's great, although a tad expensive! i haven't been to the one on carrolton, just the quarter.
